Antonia Ogden-Meade
Founder & Director
Antonia has worked with children and families for over 35 years - initially as a nurse at The Royal London Hospital and staying in the NHS working her way up to Board roles until 2008. Since then she has owned and run 7 children’s nurseries, opening Brighter Horizons Training and Development, freelance inspecting for Ofsted and working as a Magistrate in the Family Law Courts in West Sussex. She is hugely passionate about the care sector and the difference we can all make to those we work with.

Tracey Grant
Head of Compliance and Finance
With over 40 years of experience in the education sector, primarily in apprenticeships, Tracey is an expert in compliance, finance, and internal controls. As the Head of Compliance and Finance, she leads key functions such as funding compliance, ILR submissions, exam registrations, and invoicing, ensuring both accuracy and adherence to stringent industry regulations. Tracey’s expertise lies in maintaining financial integrity while managing the complexities of apprenticeship funding, exam processes, and invoicing systems. She has a strong track record in maximizing funding compliance, streamlining operations, and fostering a culture of accountability. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in supporting organizations to stay aligned with evolving policies while driving efficiency in both administrative and financial processes.

Sam Page
Head of Education and Quality
With over 19 years of dedicated experience in the Early Years sector, Sam began her journey by running her own Early Years business. Her passion for nurturing young minds soon evolved into a commitment to shaping the practitioners who support them. This led her to train as an assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA), where she found her calling in education and training. Now, as Head of Education and Quality at Brighter Horizons Training, Sam is driven by a deep passion for making a difference. She is committed to supporting and empowering Early Years professionals, helping them become confident, skillful practitioners who enable children to thrive, grow, and blossom.

Emily Chappell
Engagement and Business Development Executive
Emily leads on employer engagement and partnership development to support high-quality training and apprenticeship delivery. With a career firmly rooted in Early Years education, Emily brings extensive experience as a childminder, Early Years Professional, nursery practitioner, assessor, tutor, and subject matter expert for Early Years apprenticeship standards and assessments, working with national awarding bodies. She is passionate about understanding employer needs and supporting organisations to develop confident, skilled teams through high-quality training.

Andrea Blackmore
Assessor/IQA - Senior Lead Adult Health & Social Care Levels 2, 3, 4 & 5
Andrea brings over 15 years of diverse experience in the health and social care sector, making her a compassionate and highly skilled assessor. Her journey began as a carer, and through dedication and a passion for excellence, she rose to manage a domiciliary care company, where she led teams and ensured top-quality care for clients. This hands-on experience at every level of the care industry provides her with unique insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by care professionals. Now, as an assessor and IQA, Andrea combines her operational expertise with a deep commitment to continuous learning and development. She is passionate about empowering individuals to excel in their roles, fostering environments where carers feel valued and supported. Andrea’s approach is rooted in her warm, approachable nature and her belief in the power of growth and personal development. With a focus on enhancing skills, improving care standards, and driving positive outcomes, Andrea helps professionals in the health and social care sector unlock their full potential, making her a trusted guide and mentor in the industry.

Kirsty Campbell
Assessor - Early Years
Levels 2 & 3
Kirsty joined Brighter Horizons just over a year ago as an Early Years Assessor, bringing with her a BA in Primary and Early Years Education and hands-on experience from both nurseries and schools across West Sussex. This background gives her a deep understanding of the sector and the real challenges her learners face. She's passionate about building strong, supportive relationships with every learner, guiding them through their apprenticeship journey with encouragement, confidence, and practical skills that will set them up for a successful career. Her goal is to help each learner unlock their potential and feel proud of their achievements. Outside of work, she loves running and enjoys trips to the cinema as a way to recharge and find balance.

Denise Davis
Assessor/IQA - Business Admin & Team Leader
Level 3
Denise brings over 30 years of pan-sector experience, beginning her journey as a Business Administrator apprentice before discovering her true passion for learning and development. Now a qualified FE Lecturer, Assessor, Internal Quality Assurer, and Life Coach, she has helped countless learners build skills in employability, business, leadership, enterprise, and beyond. A passionate and energetic leader, Denise inspires others through her commitment to excellence, collaborative approach, and ability to unlock potential at every level. Her drive, vision, and expertise continue to empower individuals and strengthen organisations.

Faye Gledhill
Assessor - Early Years Levels 2 & 3
With over 20 years of experience in day nurseries, Faye worked her way from Level 3 practitioner to Manager before following her passion for staff development into assessing. Since qualifying in 2021, she has supported learners with dedication and expertise, sharing her knowledge in childcare, functional skills, and mentoring. Friendly, passionate, and highly organised, Faye takes pride in building strong relationships and guiding each learner to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Sarah Wood
Assessor - Early Years Levels 2 & 3
With 28 years of dedicated experience in the early years sector, Sarah has built a career focused on nurturing children’s growth, learning, and wellbeing from birth to age 12. Starting as a classroom assistant, she has developed her expertise through roles including practitioner, SENCo, trainer/assessor, and nursery manager, gaining a wealth of knowledge and insight along the way. As a qualified Early Years Professional, tutor, assessor, and Playwork specialist — as well as a Mental Health First Aider and Trainer — Sarah combines practical experience with academic expertise. She is especially passionate about promoting emotional wellbeing and inspiring the next generation of educators. Guided by her belief in the uniqueness of every learner, Sarah’s mission is to empower others to grow in confidence, embrace their potential, and flourish in their careers.

Chantelle Bray
Assessor - Early Years, SENCo & ALS
Levels 2, 3 & 5
Chantelle has worked in education for nearly 20 years and during that time she has had the privilege of taking on a variety of roles, including primary school teacher, leader for Maths, Early Years and Key Stage 1 & 2, as well as Safeguarding Lead and SENCo. She is passionate about helping every child access the best possible care and learning, and believes strongly in supporting others to feel confident and equipped to do the same. At Brighter Horizons, her role as SENCo and Assessor allows her to combine her experience with her love of training and mentoring others, so that together we can create inclusive environments where all can flourish.

Blue Cordner
Assessor - Health & Social Care
Levels 2, 3, 4 & 5
Blue brings over 20 years of experience as a health and social care practitioner, having worked in a range of settings, from hospitals to managing private care homes. Blue started her assessing career three years ago, achieving her own qualification in delivering training from level 2 to 5. Blue is relatable to all levels of care professionals, having developed her career from a new carer to managerial levels. With her wealth of experience in delivering outcome-based, person-centred care, Blue has the drive to ensure her learners want to achieve excellence in care, providing outstanding care to those who receive it.

Kerry Luckhurst
Assessor/IQA - Early Years
Levels 2 & 3
With years of experience in the caring profession, Kerry has embraced every training opportunity with passion. Inspired to give back, she now shares her knowledge and encouragement to help others succeed. For Kerry, the greatest reward is seeing learners grow in confidence and achieve their goals.

Pamela D’Silva
Assessor/IQA - Early Years Levels 2 & 3, Business Administrator & Team Leader Level 3
With over 30 years experience in education and a steadfast commitment to her own professional growth, Pam is deeply passionate about guiding apprentices on their learning journeys. In Pam's words, "It is both a privilege and a joy witnessing my students growth in knowledge, confidence, and capability as they flourish in their roles".
