We provide full support to employers, for example helping with recruitment and how to access apprenticeship funding. Whether you are looking for a single apprentice, or many across different sites, we can provide you with an excellent service.

Why choose Brighter Horizons for apprenticeship training?

Our team is unique

Some of us have been business owners, managers of settings, have built companies from scratch or turned around those which were struggling. We have also worked alongside inspection regulators and have sector specific expertise.

We are a specialist provider

We only work in sectors that our assessors have direct workplace experience of. Above all, we want to support you to help develop an apprentice who will add value to your team right from the outset – helping to shape them to become someone you want to keep in your team, someone who may be an aspiring practitioner/leader of the future.

We understand your needs

We know what you want from an apprentice and we will work to provide quality training to support learning that takes place in the workplace, monitor apprentice progress and provide help and support wherever needed and ensure our high quality standards are met. Throughout the apprenticeship you will be supported and guided by a member of our team and will have the support of the Brighter Horizons training centre.

You will be supported throughout

We will work to support you right from the outset with:

  • Accessing funding and securing financial incentives if available.

  • Recruiting an apprentice and finding you the right apprentice and conducting a robust interview process to make sure that they are the right fit for your team.

  • Supporting your existing team onto the apprenticeship scheme – saving you time and money

Benefits of Hiring an Apprentice

Apprenticeships are an exciting option for both apprentice and employer.

You can adapt their training to the needs of your business

They are motivated to learn new skills

You can expand and upskill your workforce

End Point Assessment

This is where your apprentice is assessed by an external End Point Assessor and may consist of the following:

  • A professional discussion with them on their showcase portfolio

  • Observation with questioning

  • Case study with presentation

  • Sitting a knowledge test

The specific requirements of each EPA will vary depending on the apprenticeship standard undertaken and the assessor will be able to provide more detail. Your apprentice must achieve all elements to pass and they will be awarded either a pass or distinction.

Your commitment

As an employer you have a duty to support the wellbeing and training of your apprentice, this commitment and our expectations of you can be found further detailed in our employee handbook below.
